Launch of Adrienne Feller's Podcast series “ A thousand faces of beauty”
"Beauty is in fact the enthusiasm, joy, and inspiration that lives within us."
What is beauty? How can we see and experience beauty, and how can we create balance in our everyday lives? These are the questions explored in Adrienne Feller’s podcast series, in which she speaks with ten remarkable women.
What inspired the podcast?
I’ve been thinking about creating a podcast for years, but for a long time, I didn’t feel ready. In fact, the idea really crystallized while I was writing my book “Beauty With a Thousand Faces.” I started to imagine how wonderful it would be to have conversations with women about how they create harmony within themselves and in their surroundings. What do they think about beauty and the passage of time? What inspires them, and where do they find the strength to get through difficult situations while preserving their inner power? Naturally, I also use scents during these conversations, because fragrances help us go deeper and reconnect with ourselves. I found this idea incredibly exciting, so I finally committed to creating the podcast.
Did you choose your guests yourself?
Yes, I did. I chose women who touched me deeply in one way or another. Nine out of my ten guests live their lives in the spotlight, while one does the opposite. I wanted to include a woman who stays behind the scenes, someone who empowers others to thrive.
Each conversation is deeply personal and unique, yet they all revolve around the same core question: What does beauty mean? How can we perceive and live beauty, and create balance in both our daily lives and in moments of celebration?
"The skin reflects the universe within us."
What does beauty mean to you?
I started my career as a beauty therapist, then became an aromatherapist, a naturopath, and later a mental health professional. Through my work, I could tangibly see how the skin reflects the universe within us, like a projection screen. I’ve been in this profession for 35 years. When I started, we didn’t yet know that the condition of the skin is closely linked to the nervous and digestive systems — but now we do. We’ve learned that treating symptoms alone is not enough; we need to dig deeper. The skin reveals both current and long-standing dysfunctions — and whether harmony is present or lacking.
Beauty is not about perfection, but about wholeness. It’s a state of being where I have a good relationship with myself and others. It means knowing myself well enough to understand what strengthens me and helps me regain my balance. It means being able to notice and feel my needs, and giving myself the time and space to create a sense of wholeness in everyday life.
Beauty is, in essence, the enthusiasm, joy, and inspiration within us — the ability to truly be a part of life.
I don’t believe in skin types. I believe that everyone is born with a unique character, and the skin simply reflects that. Skin tells the story of its owner — where they come from, where they are now, and what has been present in their life for a long time.
